Alhamdulillah!!  We are pleased to inform our community that on Sept 20, 1999 after much debate, Islamic Foundation North was granted a conditional use permit to construct a Mosque at our O'Plaine Road site by the city of Waukegan. We  would like to congratulate everyone of you who have worked so diligently over the past years to come this far.This is indeed a milestone towards achieving our goal. Now we need to pool our resources and work in unison to raise the needed funds.

So let us bridge that gap between superficiality and depth.Being anew with the foundation of land which we have already obtained.With God's grace, mark it a foundation of piety and build upon it a Mosque which inwardly and outwardly reflects the nature of Islam.
